Image removed.Some 900 two- and four-year graduates, their families, professors, and friends were on hand Sunday, May 13, as ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College honored its 96th graduating class. Dr. John B. Clark, interim college president, presided over the ceremony. Student speaker Morgan Masters, Syracuse, recounted for her fellow graduates the experiences-good and not so good-they shared while attending ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College, and how these experiences prepared them all for the ("real") life ahead. "The experiences have changed my life forever; and knowing that the life lessons I've been taught here at ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï have touched me in ways that I will never forget. "The next chapter of our lives starts here, today. Enjoy the journey." Masters is the daughter of Susan and Melvin Taber of Syracuse. During her time at ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College, Masters was active in a variety of areas, including serving as president of the student chapter of Associated General Contractors; member of Women in Nontraditional Studies; chair of Student Senate Executive Board; entertainment chair of Alfred Programming Board; secretary for Tor Echo (student newspaper); co-captain for late night events; member of Alfred Programming Board; member of Yearbook Club; member of Hall Council; resident assistant; Paraprofessional Staff Member of the Month, October 2005; honored for community spirit and outstanding leadership as a Residential Life staff member.
