Ronald P. Nasca, Hornell, has been appointed to the ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College Council by the NYS Governor's Office.
Council members serve without salary as an advisory group to the president of the College. Authority of the Council is in such areas as regulations governing student conduct, regulations concerning care and management of campus facilities, review of academic programs, approval of candidates for college degrees, and selection of the College president.
Nasca is a senior mechanical designer at Alstom Transportation, Hornell.
He holds an associate of applied science degree from ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College.
Nasca serves as a communicant of St. Ann's Church, Hornell, is a member of the Knights of Columbus, and referees Sunday School basketball.
Nasca is married to the former Antoinette Mauro; they are the parents of two young children, Carmen and Dominic.
