±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï Volleyball Ranked 7th After Successful Week

±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï Volleyball jumped from 9th to 7th in this week's NJCAA Division III volleyball poll.  The Lady Pioneers won two matches this past week to improve their overall record to 19-2.

On Tuesday, the Lady Pioneers defeated Jamestown CC, who were previously ranked 7th in last week's poll and are currently ranked 8th, 3-0.  Then on Thursday the Lady Pioneers defeated Corning CC 3-0 to finish out the week.

±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï is led by Yurika Toyodome (Tokyo, Japan) with 3.8 kills per game and Jenni Jerome (Westhill) with 3.3 kills per game.  Toyodome and Breanna Horton (Owego Free Academy) lead the team with 29 service aces each.

The Lady Pioneers will return to action this Saturday when they host the ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï Tournament.  The tournament begins at 10 am with pool play.
