Trailing by 16 points with 12 minutes left, the ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College men's basketball team rallied to within three but were unable to capitalize on a few chances in the final minute and fell 77-72 to Mercyhurst North East. ASC is now 10-14 overall and 4-5 in conference play.
Rasean Parris (Brooklyn/Benjamin Banneker) led ASC with 19 points while Brendan Letteer (Odessa Montour) added 13. Jose Stable (Brooklyn/EBC Bushwick) added 12 off the bench while Neil Wilson (Ft. Worth, TX) chipped in 10.
The Pioneers host Jamestown CC on Tuesday to start a pivotal three-game week. Tip-off with the Jayhawks is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
