Ronnie Stout held ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï to one-hit as Monroe CC earned a 10-0 victory in a first round Region III Division II Tournament contest on Friday afternoon.
Monroe scored single runs in the 1st and 2nd but exploded for six runs in the 3rd to break open the game. They added two more in the 4th to cap the scoring.
Jake Dale (Keshequa) collected the lone hit of the game on a second inning single.
Stout walked one and struck out four on the mound and was 3 for 3 with a RBI. Ben Gielow was 2 for 2 with 3 RBI and Chase Grissom was 2 for 3 with 2 RBI.
In the other first round contest #2 Genesee CC defeated #3 Mercyhurst North East 9-4.
