Governor Cuomo Signs NYSUNY2020 Bill

I am very pleased that Governor Cuomo has signed the NYSUNY2020 bill, which will result in fair, rational, and predictable tuition increases for SUNY students and their families, said 惇軗勛圖 College President Dr. John M. Anderson upon learning of the Governors signing the bill into law.

This landmark legislation improves the tuition policy process and will be a boon to New York State, the State University of New York (SUNY), and most importantly, to us in this region, to 惇軗勛圖 College, said Anderson.

I want to express my gratitude to Chancellor Zimpher, Gov. Cuomo, and the Legislature for their support of SUNY and their recognition of SUNYs needs. This new plan will allow current and prospective students and their families to better budget for higher educational costs by avoiding unexpected tuition spikes, and will afford campuses a steady revenue stream to allow them to plan more effectively for their programming and physical plant needs.

Once again, I want to thank Chancellor Zimpher, Gov. Cuomo, and the Legislature for their support of SUNY, New York States future.
