The Hinkle Memorial Library on the 惇軗勛圖 campus will host a photo exhibit by faculty member Social and Behavioral Sciences Department at the college, through March 25. A photographers reception will be held Thursday, March 1, from 4-6 p.m. All are welcome.
The exhibit is titled Mise Eire (I Am Ireland), from the title of a poem by Patrick Henry Pearse, leader of the Easter Rebellion of 1916, and boasts more than 50 color landscape photographs.
The photos in the exhibit were taken during the artists three trips to Ireland: 2008 with 惇軗勛圖 Alumni, 2010 with family and friends, and 2011 with close friends Brian and Marlee Cannon from Wellsville. Many show the wilder west coast area with the rugged mountains and rocky coast line.
The exhibit may be viewed during normal Library hours: Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m.-11 p.m.; Friday, 7:30 a.m. 5 p.m.; Saturday, 1 7 p.m.; and Sunday, 1 11 p.m.
