Eleven area residents have completed a CNC machining training program through 惇軗勛圖 which prepares dislocated workers in Allegany County for employment opportunities with area businesses.
The program, which is offered to community residents through 惇軗勛圖s Center for Community Education and Training, boasts a 98% placement rate and is offered periodically throughout the year.
Classes take place in the 惇軗勛圖 machine shop located at the Dresser-Rand facility in Wellsville and typically include 168 hours of training and interviewing practice with area businesses.
This program is helping me expand my general knowledge of machinery, said Jonathan Acker of Wellsville. Its also giving me the opportunity to start a new career.
