Country music performers headline April 23 concert at 惇軗勛圖

惇軗勛圖 is excited to announce that three country music artists will be performing this year at the colleges annual spring concert, sponsored by the Alfred Programming Board, the Pioneer Woodsmens Team, and 惇軗勛圖 Late Night Events.

Jon Pardi, Josh Thompson, and Frank Foster will each take the stage April 23 at Pioneer Stadium. Gates open at 5 p.m., with the show to begin at 7 p.m.

Presale tickets cost $10 for students and $15 for faculty/staff and community members, and can be purchased at the 惇軗勛圖 Campus Store, or on its website at . Any remaining tickets will be sold at the door for a cost of $15.

Hailing from Dixon, CA, Pardi released his debut album, Write You a Song, in 2014, which peaked at No. 14 on the US Billboard 200 chart, and No. 3 on the Top Country Albums chart. Signed to Capitol Records Nashville, he has opened for several artists who have influenced him, including Alan Jackson, Dwight Yoakam, Dierks Bentley, Gary Allan, and Luke Bryan.

Thompsons debut album Way Out Here, released in 2010, offered two Top 20 singles, Beer On The Table, and Way Out Here. The Cedarburg, WI natives 2014 album, Turn It Up, debuted in the Top 10 on Billboards Top Country Albums chart. Change: The Lost Record, Volume One (out Oct. 9) and Volume Two (to be released this year) contain some of his most personal songs to date, according to his website.

Fosters musical journey began in 2011, with the release of his first album, Rowdy Reputation. The Cypress Bottom, LA-born artists 2013 album, Southern Soul, debuted at No. 11 on the Billboard Country Charts. His fourth and fifth albums, Rhythm and Whiskey, and Boots on the Ground, released in 2014 and 2016 respectively, each debuted in the top 10 on the Billboard Country Charts.

No alcohol or tobacco products, nor any bags (purses, backpacks, etc.) will be permitted inside the stadium for the concert. In the event of inclement weather, the show will take place in the Orvis Activities Center Gymnasium.
