Welding Technology
A number of reasons sparked Deborah Huppman’s decision to enroll at ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï.
One of these was being able to get plenty of applied learning experiences in her program.
“I liked that we were able to get a lot of hands-on training and that you weren’t sitting in a lecture all day.â€
Another reason was the professors, whom she found to be very helpful and also very knowledgeable about their field.
“They have a lot of job experience. They didn’t just sit in a classroom and learn out of a textbook, either. They actually learned from years and years of experience, so that’s really cool.â€
Small class sizes that allow for more individualized attention also played a role in Deborah’s decision to become a Pioneer.
“The class size was only 20 students, so I wasn’t going to be sitting in a room where there are 100 students to a teacher. Here, there are only 20 students to a teacher and I liked that.â€
While she didn’t know much about welding prior to enrolling at ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï, Deborah definitely feels well prepared for the workforce now because of the professors and the hands-on training she has received.
“I was really excited to learn more and now I have more confidence in myself and my own knowledge of welding.â€
