Liberal Arts and Sciences: Humanities
When the time came to pick a college major, Mackenzie Congdon decided ±¬×߳Թϒs liberal arts and sciences: humanities program was the perfect fit.
Mackenzie, after all, loved writing and excelled in her high school English classes. She was also unsure of her exact career path.
After taking a variety of courses in her program, however, Mackenzie ultimately discovered she wanted to become an English teacher.
“I wasn’t sure at first what I wanted to do, but then I started diving into the program and it helped me to pinpoint what I wanted to do.â€
While helping her find the right career path, the program also improved Mackenzie’s writing and reading comprehension skills, which are beneficial for any career. As a result, she became more confident in her abilities as a writer and was published twice in Ergo, ±¬×߳Թϒs literary and artistic magazine.
In addition to her program, Mackenzie also loves the environment that ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï offers.
“I like how it’s so diverse, and at the same time, it’s like a small community. You know all your professors and most of your classmates. I think that’s pretty cool.â€
Thanks to ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï, Mackenzie is authoring a bright future for herself and ready for whatever the next chapter of her life holds.
