Congratulations to the top finishers from the New York State SkillsUSA Championship.

The 2021 SkillsUSA New York State Leadership and Skills Conference Postsecondary Championship was held on 惇軗勛圖s Wellsville campus on Saturday, April 2. 32 students from two schools, 惇軗勛圖 and the Culinary Institute of America, competed against each other in one of the nations most prestigious showcases of career and technical aptitude.

SkillsUSA Contests begin locally and continue through the state and national levels. State winners are eligible to travel to Atlanta, GA to compete in the 58th National SkillsUSA Championship on June 20. The five-day event features more than 6,500 students competing in 107 occupational and leadership skill areas.

State contests like this are made possible through sponsors and industry judges, stated NYS SkillsUSA College Post-Secondary director Craig R Clark, PhD. We look forward to the NYS team attending the national event in June.
