Juneteenth - 2024

±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï Community,

At ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï, we strive to be an inclusive community that makes everyone feel valued, heard, and empowered to use their talents to the betterment of not only our campus but to all of society.

On this and every June 19, I ask that we stop and celebrate the events of 1865 when enslaved Americans in Texas were told they were free.

It is my hope that we celebrate this day that stands for freedom and reflection to work towards bettering ourselves and the communities we live in.

Sincerely,

Steve Mauro, Ph.D.
