惇軗勛圖 and SUNY Niagara sign articulation agreement

Leaders sign a new articulation agreement
ASC Vice President for Academic Affairs Carrie Cokely along with SUNY Niagara President Lloyd Holmes sign an articulation agreement that will allow SUNY Niagara graduates of the engineering program to transfer to 惇軗勛圖 seamlessly.

惇軗勛圖 College (ASC) and SUNY Niagara have signed an articulation agreement that allows engineering students to pre-plan their college careers. At a ceremony held Aug. 18 on SUNY Niagaras campus in Sanborn, ASC Vice President for Academic Affairs Carrie Cokely and Niagaras President Dr. Lloyd Holmes celebrated the agreement.

The agreement guarantees graduates of SUNY Niagaras Associate in Applied Science (A.S.) in Engineering Science the opportunity to apply for ASCs Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering Technology program. These students will be granted full junior status and be offered guaranteed scholarships.

This articulation agreement goes beyond the standard, commented 惇軗勛圖 Vice President for Carrie Cokely, PhD. We are enriching the opportunities for SUNY Niagara students by introducing guaranteed admissions pathway into 惇軗勛圖s bachelors degree program. This means students can begin their academic journey knowing that their next step to a four-year degree is not only possible but promised.

Were always proud to strengthen our relationship with a sister SUNY campus, and this agreement with 惇軗勛圖 is especially exciting because it will defray the cost of attendance, added Holmes. Our two colleges have created a smooth, new pathway for SUNY Niagara students to continue their pursuit of a bachelors degree in a growing discipline.

Cokely continued, We know todays students are smart, strategic, and financially savvy. That is why this agreement has been strengthened by guaranteed scholarships to SUNY Niagara students who transfer to 惇軗勛圖.
Students interested in learning more about the dual admission agreement should contact the 惇軗勛圖 admissions office.

This agreement lets students begin their community college journey with the end in mind, concluded Cokely. 惇軗勛圖 deeply values Western New York and is committed to building opportunities for students in this region. This partnership is another step in ensuring that bright future start right here at home.
