Pioneers Rally for Victory

The ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College men's basketball team by as many as 11 points with 12 minutes remaining but rallied for a 71-65 victory over JCC-Olean on Tuesday evening.  The victory improves the Pioneers to 8-9 overall and 2-0 in WNYAC action. Read Article

Caba Begins Second Year at Helm of NJCFCA

±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College Head Football Coach Mick Caba recently completed the first year of a 2-year term as National President of the NJCAA Football Coaches Association. In January, Caba presided over the NJCFCA National  Business  Meeting in Orlando, Florida.  The NJCFCA meetings are held at the American Football Coaches Association Convention each year. Chris Dalton (Elmira Southside) and Neil Wilson (Ft. Worth, TX)  combined for 10 three-pointers as ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï downed Niagara CCC 80-73 in the Pioneers WNYAC opener.  The victory improves ASC to 7-9 on the season. Read Article

Brittney Brooks (Elmira Free) led three Lady Pioneers in double figures as the ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College women's basketball team downed Niagara CCC 79-47 in their WNYAC opener.  ASC improves to 10-6 on the year. Read Article

Tracksters Open up Season at RIT

The ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College indoor track and field team opened up their 2010 season at the non-scoring RIT Invitational.  The Pioneers had numerous athletes qualify for the Region III Championships on the day. Read Article
