Baseball Sweeps MNE

The ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College baseball team opened up the fall season with a doubleheader sweep of Mercyhurst North East.  Joe Wallace (Avoca) tossed a six inning no-hitter in the game one 10-0 victory while the Pioneers rallied for five runs in the 7th for a 8-7 victory in the nightcap. Read Article

Men’s Soccer falls to Delhi

The ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College men’s soccer team fell 2-1 to SUNY Delhi on day one of the East-West Showdown at Hudson Valley CC. Read Article

Pioneers Pass by Bulldogs

The ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College football team opened up the 2009 season with a strong showing in a 40-14 victory at Stevens Tech (Lancaster, PA).  The Pioneers passed for 434 yards and held the Bulldog offense to 232 yards. Read Article

Men's Soccer Ranked 6th in Preseason Poll

New head coach Jason Gildner and the ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College men's soccer team will enter the 2009 season in the NJCAA Division III National Poll.  The Pioneers, who finished 2008 with a 14-4 mark, are ranked 6th in the preseason poll. Read Article

Volleyball team ranked #5 in NJCAA Preseason Poll

The ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College volleyball team is ranked #5 in the preseason NJCAA Division III poll released this week.  The Lady Pioneers are coming off a 2008 season in which they finished 4th in the nation with a program best 38-4 record. Read Article

Gildner Named Men's Soccer Coach

Jason Gildner has been named the new men's soccer coach at ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College. Gildner a former assistant coach at ASC and a 2005 graduate takes over a team that was 14-4 in 2008 and advanced all the way to the Region III Division III finals. Read Article

Pioneers Earn Academic Honors

Twenty ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College student athletes have been honored with academic awards.  Eleven Pioneers were named NJCAA Academic All-American, 13 were named Academic All-Region, and 20 were named Academic All Conference. Read Article

ASC finishes 3rd in Director's Cup and 7th in NATYCAA Cup

The ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College athletic program had strong showings in both the Region III Director's Cup and the NATYCAA (National Alliance of Two-Year College Athletic Administrators).  The Pioneers finished 3rd in the Directors Cup and 7th in the scholarship division of the NATYCAA Cup. Read Article

Jerome Named WNYAC Co-Senior Athlete of the Year

±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College standout volleyball player Jenni Jerome (Syracuse/Westhill) has been named the Western New York Athletic Conference co-senior female athlete of the year.  She shares the honor with Lindsay Grace (Monroe CC) and Kari Barmore (Jamestown CC). Read Article

The ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College athletic department has published the 2009 fall athletic schedules.  Athletes will begin reporting to campus in the middle of August with games beginning the last weekend of August. Read Article
