Four members of the ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï women's soccer team have been honored by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America in their end of the year awards. Kali Muhleisen (Alfred Almond), was named 1st team All-American while Krista DeCarlo (Bayshore/West Islip), and Maura Tuffey (Albany/Holy Names) were named 2nd team. The trio along with Hannah Holmok (Alfred Almond) were also named All-Northeast Region as well.

±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï baseball coach Jason Cronin and the rest of the coaching staff will host a Prospect Camp on Sunday, Jan. 27th at the Orvis Activities Center. The camp will allow high school players to showcase their skills in front of the Pioneer coaching staff. Each participant will receive an evaluation of their skills from the coaching staff.

Fueled by three forfeit victories in the first five matches, Mercyhurst North East jumped to a 25-0 lead en route to a 37-16 WNYAC dual meet victory over ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï. The Pioneers finish the 2012 portion of their season with a 1-3 overall mark and a 1-2 WNYAC record.

The ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï women's basketball team was tripped up in overtime, 57-54, by Sullivan County CC in the opening round of the Onondaga CC Classic. The Lady Pioneers are now 8-3 on the year and will take on Ithaca College JV at 11:45 a.m. in the tournament consolation game.

Niagara CCC defeated ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï 50-0 in a WNYAC dual on Wednesday evening. The win improves Niagara to 3-0 in the WNYAC while the Pioneers are 1-2 overall and 1-1 in WNYAC play.
