±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College swimmers Kailtyn Corbett (Clarence) and Becca Mastasio (Livonia) combined to write a blog entry each day as the Pioneers competed in the NJCAA National Championships in Fort Pierce, FL.  The men's team won the non-scholarship championship while the women's team finished in 9th place. Men win Non-Scholarship Title, Women finish 9th overall

The ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College men's swimming team won the non-scholarship title at the NJCAA National Championships.  The Pioneers racked up 233 points to top the non-scholarship schools and finish 5th overall.  The women scored 82 points to finish 9th out of 15 teams.  Read Article

Omoregie breaks school record in Pentathlon

±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College sophomore Andy Omoregie (Gates Chili) set a new school record in the pentathlon at the NJCAA Indoor Track & Field National Championships at Eastern Illinois University. Read Article

Lax Team Ready for Action

The ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College lacrosse team will look to return to the Region III Tournament as they blend experience with a group of talented newcomers.  The Pioneers are scheduled to open up their season on Sunday afternoon on the on-campus athletic complex versus Elmira JV. Read Article

Longenecker Racks up Awards

Longenecker finished the season with a 20-4 record.  He won the Region III Championship at 133 lbs. to earn a spot at the National Championships.  At the Nationals, he advanced to the semifinals before falling in a tough match but rebounded to earn 5th place and become the A-State's 27th all-time NJCAA All-American.  Read Article

Four Pioneers heading to Indoor Nationals

Andy Omoregie (Gates Chili), Cedric Crowder (Gates Chili), Broncho Rollins (Ithaca), and Keith Dziak (Buffalo/Bishop Timon) will represent ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College at the 2008 NJCAA Indoor Track & Field National Championship this weekend at Eastern Illinois University. Read Article

Six Tracksters Earn All-Region

Six members of the ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College indoor track and field team have earned All-Region honors by winning events at the Region III Championships.  Andy Omoregie (Gates Chili), Rob Riley (Rochester/Edison), Zak Williamson (Rocky Point), Broncho Rollins (Ithaca), and Tyrell Davis (Mt. Vernon) helped the men's team to the Regional Championship while Najia McGee (Rochester/Edison) helped the Lady Pioneers to a 4th place finish. Read Article

Four Hoopsters Earn Honors

Four members of the ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College men's basketball teams have earned postseason honors.  Dusty Marshall (Newfield) was named All-Region 1st team and All-WNYAC 1st team while Travis Brannen (Elmira Free) was a 3rd team selection to both the All-Region and All-WNYAC teams.  Dan Foley (Irondequoit) and Pat White (Warren, OH) were both selected honorable mention All-WNYAC. Boyd Named Coach of the Year

±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College women's basketball coach Gina Boyd has been named the Region III Division II Coach of the Year.  Boyd led the Lady Pioneers to a 17-9 record and the #2 seed in the regional tournament. Read Article

Seven members of the ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College swimming team have earned All-Region honors.  Five members of the Region III Runner-up men's team earned All-Region honors while two members of the women's 3rd place team were honored. Read Article
