About 150 professionals convened on the ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College recently to attend the fourth annual Conference on Aging. Rose Marie Fagan, outreach coordinator, The Pioneer Network, who served as the morning's keynote speaker, discussed pioneering approaches to change the culture of aging from the traditional nursing facilities to a culture that is life affirming, satisfying, humane, and meaningful.

Western New York and the Southern Tier--competed recently in a SkillsUSA (formerly Vocational Industrial Clubs of America) Day leadership conference and skills Olympics at ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College,
on both the Wellsville and Alfred campuses, earlier this month. Several BOCES schools participated in the event.
