Swimming: Men 2nd, Women 3rd at GCC Invite

The ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College men's cross country team finished as NJCAA Division III National Runner-Ups at the National Championship at Finger Lakes CC on Saturday.  ASC scored 70 points and trailed just SUNY Delhi's 22. Read Article

Lady Pioneer Runners Finish 5th at Nationals

The ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College women's cross country team entered the NJCAA Division III National Championships ranked #5 in the national poll and raced to a 5th place finish.  The Lady Pioneers scored a 141. Read Article

Wasted Opportunities Haunt Pioneers

The ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College football team couldn't capitalize on numerous scoring chances and fell 21-7 to #15 Nassau CC in their Northeast Football Conference finale.  ASC is now 3-6 (0-5 NFC) while Nassau is 7-2 (3-2 NFC). Read Article

Sorrento Lingue Institute Signs MOU with ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College

Smiles were the order of the day recently as Cristiana Panicco (second from left) director, Sorrento Lingue Institute, traveled to ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï to offer joint study abroad programs. Read Article

Humphrey Fellows and Climate Change Events

±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College’s Department of English and Humanities has undertaken a semester-long project on climate change. Students in some composition sections have been researching climate change and writing papers on various narrow topics related to it. The final examination for all sections of the foundation writing courses will also focus on climate change, and the exam itself will be written during the United Nations Conference on Climate Change in Copenhagen in December. The ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College men's basketball team withstood a furious comeback from Corning to win their first of the season, 71-67.  ASC is now 1-1 on the year. Read Article
