Shortstop Jose Sanchez (Tachira, Venezuela) has been named a NJCAA Division II 1st team All-American. Sanchez is the third Pioneer ever to be named 1st team All-American and the fifth baseball player to be named All-American.

A new era of ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College athletics will begin this fall as the Pioneers will have a brand new on-campus facility that will be the new home for football, soccer, lacrosse, and track & field. Work started on the complex a few weeks back but the grounds were officially broken in a ceremony held on Friday.
