Karen M. Young Elected Chair of Faculty Senate

Karen M. Young, associate professor and chair of the Computerized Design and Manufacturing Department of 惇軗勛圖 College, has been elected chair of that bodys Faculty Senate. The chair is elected for a two-year term and may serve two consecutive terms. Read Article

Homecoming/Family Weekend Sept. 24-27

惇軗勛圖 College will host its annual Homecoming/Family weekend Thursday-Sunday, Sept. 24-27, on the Alfred campus. Hundreds of visitors are expected to converge on campus to reconnect with old friends or visit with their students, perhaps for the first time since dropping them off for the fall semester in August. Kathleen Casey Ebert, Wellsville, professor of mathematics and statistics at 惇軗勛圖 College, has been invited to serve on the Provost's Advisory Group for the SUNY (State University of New York) Assessment Initiative as a representative of faculty, the GEAR (General Education Assessment Review) committee group, and the Colleges of Technology.
