UNI-SELECT Partnership for Automotive Parts Technology Program Reviewed

The School of Applied Technology at ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College is pleased to announce that the relatively new automotive parts technology curriculum, begun in fall 2007, will be offered in an online format beginning fall 2008. Allegany Arc Donates to ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College

Allegany Arc recently contributed $1,000 to the Khalid Ashraf Memorial Endowed Scholarship at ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College. The scholarship honors the memory of Dr. Khalid Ashraf who was killed in an accident in June 2007. The money is a result of contributions Arc received as memorials in Ashraf's name after his passing last year. Read Article

Alice Foust Bench Dedication

Friends, relatives, and colleagues of the late Alice Foust gathered on the ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College campus recently to dedicate a bench and garden in her memory. Foust, who served as a cleaner on campus until her retirement in 2005, lost her battle with cancer last year. Read Article

Praxair, Inc. Gives $10,000 Donation

The Computerized Design and Manufacturing Department at ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College's School of Applied Technology, Wellsville, was the recipient recently of a $10,000 donation from Praxair, Inc., Tonawanda, to be used for student scholarships beginning in fall 2008. Read Article

ASC Will Celebrate 100th Birthday, Thursday, May 8

±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College will celebrate its 100th birthday on Thursday, May 8, 2008, with a day-long schedule of events to be held on the Alfred campus. Beginning at 11 a.m., the campus community will dedicate a "centennial bench" overlooking the academic quad. Read Article
