Pioneers down Lakers

The #13 ranked ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College men's soccer team won their 3rd straight contest on Thursday afternoon by defeating #12 Finger Lakes CC 3-2.  With the win the Pioneers improve to 4-1 while the Lakers suffer their first defeat and fall to 4-1. Read Article

Men's Soccer Ranked #13

After a quick 3-1 start the men's soccer team has earned the #13 ranking in the first NJCAA Division III poll of the regular season.  The Pioneers have outscored opponents 14 to 9 on the season and 11 to 5 in their last two victories. Read Article

Volleyball Ranked #7

The ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College volleyball team is ranked #7 in the first NJCAA Division III poll of the 2008.  The Lady Pioneers are currently 5-0 after winning the Mohawk Valley CC Tournament last Saturday. Read Article

ASC's Taste of Wellsville Event, Saturday, Oct. 11

Local eateries will once again participate in ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College's "Taste of Wellsville," this year, Saturday, Oct. 11, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.  Restaurants and other food purveyors will showcase their tasty signature dishes in "miniature form" at stations around the Applied Technology Campus. Lady Pioneers suffer first defeat

Tompkins Cortland CC scored three goals in the final 16 minutes of the contest to down ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï 4-1 in a Region III Division III match-up played under the lights in Dryden.  The Lady Pioneers are now 2-1 on the year while TCCC improves to 2-3. Read Article

Hewitt Signs with Toronto

Former ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College and University of Arkansas football player Matt Hewitt (Englewood, NJ) has signed a contract with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League.  Hewitt was one of nine players signed by the team today. Read Article

Cross Country Ranked #9

Both the men's and women's cross country teams at ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï are ranked #9 in the NJCAA Division III poll.  The Pioneers open up the regular season on Saturday when they host the annual ASC Invitational. Read Article

Washburn earns NFC Special Teams Honor

±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College punter/tight end Preston Washburn (Dundee) has been named the Northeast Football Conference co-special teams player of the week.  Washburn had a solid game in the Pioneers 21-14 victory over Stevens Tech on Saturday afternoon. Read Article
