"WINS" FutureBound Career Day

±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College's Office of Career Development will host a "WINS" (Women in Non-traditional Studies) FutureBound Career Day, Friday, March 28, from 8:30 a.m.-2:15 p.m. This annual career exploration day is held for 10th grade girls interested in learning more about non-traditional occupations and careers (non-traditional occupations are defined as those with fewer than 25 percent female workers). Pioneers fall in final Florida contest

The ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College baseball team fell 8-6 to Miami (OH) Hamilton to wrap up their annual trip to Cocoa Expo in Cocoa, FL.  The Pioneers finish the trip with a 5-7 record. Read Article

A-State falls to Del Tech

The ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College lacrosse team couldn't overcome a slow start and fell 18-11 to Delaware Tech on Friday afternoon.  The Pioneers trailed 11-5 at half and see their record even up at 1-1 while Del Tech improves to 2-3. Read Article

Baseball drops a pair of one-run games

The ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College baseball team lost a pair of one-run contests on Friday in Cocoa, FL.  The Pioneers fell 7-6 to Camden County (NJ) CC in nine innings and then fell 11-10 to Prairie State (IL) College.  The Pioneers are now 5-6 on the season. Read Article

Track team opener delayed

The ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College outdoor track & field team was scheduled to compete at the Howard CC Invitational on Saturday but cold forecasted weather has forced the team to stay home. Read Article

Lax Wins Season Opener

The ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College lacrosse team won their season opener 11-9 over Harford (Bel Air, MD) on Thursday afternoon.  Four different Pioneers found the back of the net in the victory. Read Article

Softball Wraps up Spring Trip

The ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College softball team split their final doubleheader at Snowbird Softball in Myrtle Beach, SC.  The Pioneers earned a forfeit victory in their opener over Massasoit (MA) CC and then fell 5-2 to Marshalltown (IA) CC.  ASC finishes the trip with a 1-7 record. Read Article

Pioneer split at Cocoa

The ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College baseball team split a doubleheader on Wednesday at Cocoa Expo in Cocoa, FL.  The Pioneers fell 11-5 to Ridgewater (MN) College but rebounded for a 3-1 victory over Cumberland (NJ) County CC.  With the split the Blue & Gold are now 5-4 on the season. Read Article

ASC Hosts Southern Tier Consortia for Alcohol and Other Substance Abuse Services

±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College recently hosted the Southern Tier Consortia for Alcohol and Other Substance Abuse Services. The Consortia is comprised of colleges,universities, and community prevention providers in the Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Allegany, and western portion of Steuben Counties. Read Article

Reception Held for ASC President and Wife

Anderson, left, and his wife Vivien were the guests of honor at a recent reception hosted by the ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï College Council at Club 57 in Hornell, where they renewed acquaintances with old friends and former colleagues and met new friends as part of their re-introduction to the area.
