I love the labs that we get to apply what we were learning in the classrooms. Working on projects with other classmates really helped instill what I learned from the professors. The professors really care about your education and will help you any wat that they can.

This group of students represented the college well. It is always amazing to be part of such a large competition with high school and college students competing and showing what they can do in such a wide variety of competitions and the students always shine as strong Pioneers. I was an average student in high school and did not have any lofty ambitions. The idea of a two-year school appealed to me; a two-year degree seemed more doable. I applied to Cobleskill and Alfred and was accepted at both. I was not familiar with Western, NY so going to Alfred seemed like a new frontier to me.
