Pat Parker (Queens/Hillcrest) hit a three-pointer as time expired to lift the ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï men's basketball team to a 58-56 victory over Monroe CC. The victory snaps a Pioneers five game losing skid and improves the team to 7-18 (2-10 WNYAC).

After a slow start, the ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï women's basketball team raced past Roberts Wesleyan JV 70-45 in a non-conference tilt. The Raiders jumped out to a 12-7 lead but the Pioneers answered with a 32 to 8 run to close out the half.
