Sweet Win for Lady Pioneers

The ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï women's basketball team saw a double-digit 2nd half lead disappear but was able to score the games final five points to earn a 73-69 victory over Mercyhurst North East in a key Region III Division II contest.  The sweet Valentine's Day victory improves the Lady Pioneers to 14-8 overall and 5-3 in RIII DII while MNE is 13-5 overall and 6-1 in RIII DII play. Rally Falls Short

The ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï men's basketball team trailed by as many as 22 points but was able to rally and cut the lead to four but Mercyhurst North East ended the game on a 10-1 to earn a 70-57 victory in a WNYAC contest on Tuesday.  MNE improves to 13-11 (5-6 WNYAC) while the Pioneers are 6-18 (1-10 WNYAC). Peet and Simons Qualify for Wrestling Nationals

±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï wrestlers Tyler Peet (Unadilla Valley) and Josh Simons (Campbell Savona) qualified for the NJCAA National Championships with 2nd place finishes at the Northeast Districts/Region III Championships. As a team, the Pioneers finished 5th in the competition with 67 points. Read Article

Pioneers Lead Regionals after the Multi

The ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï men’s indoor track and field team leads the Region III Championship after the multi-event.  The Pioneer trio of participants finished 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in the heptathlon held in conjunction with Cornell University’s Kane Invitational. Read Article

Pioneers Drop Another Close One

The ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï men's basketball team dropped their sixth game in 2012 by ten points or less on Saturday, 87-80 at Niagara CCC.  The Pioneers are now 6-17 overall and 1-9 in WNYAC play. Read Article

Brooks Leads Lady Pioneers Past NCCC

Amie Brooks (Pavilion) had a career high 29 points as the ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï women's basketball team downed Niagara CCC to earn their 3rd straight victory and improve to 13-8 overall on the season (4-3 Region III Division II). Read Article

Pioneers Fall to Hot Shooting Kats

Erie CC conneced on 14 three-pointers and shot 51.3% for the game as they downed the ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï men's basketball team 108-71 in a WNYAC contest.  The Pioneers are now 6-16 (1-8 WNYAC) on the season while ECC is 17-3 (7-1 WNYAC). Read Article

Lady Pioneers Win 2nd Straight

The ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï women's basketball team went on the road and won a 61-50 decision over Erie CC in a key Region III Division II contest.  The Lady Pioneers second straight victory improves the team to 12-8 on the season and 3-3 in RIII DII contests. Read Article

Pioneers Rally Falls Short

The ±¬×ß³Ô¹Ï men's basketball team trailed 44-34 at half and by as many 14 in the 2nd half but were able to claw back into the game to cut it to 77-75 in the final two minutes but were unable to get any closer as Genesee CC earned a 83-78 victory.  The Cougars are now 14-9 (6-2 WNYAC) while the Pioneers are 6-15 (1-7 WNYAC).
